Batu Caves – it is a limestone outcrop located just north of Kuala Lumpur with three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines. Site of a Hindu temple and shrine, it attracts thousands of worshippers and tourists, especially during the annual Hindu festival, Thaipusam. Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb up its steps to finally view the stunning skyline of the city centre. (Need to climb 272 steps up to the main temple. This attraction is not recommended for handicapped passengers or occupy with wheelchair. Passengers can enjoy and take photo at nearby area).
AEON Mall Bukit Tinggi – The AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre is also popularly known as JUSCO Bukit Tinggi, it is one of the largest AEON (JUSCO) shopping centre in Malaysia. With the theme, “Experience The Difference”, this mall is one of the shopping complex with over 160 retail outlets. JUSCO Supermarket, restaurants, cafes,food court, leisure and entertainment stores, cinemas, sports and book stores can be found in the shopping mall.
Note: When entering Hindu Temple, female visitors are required to cover decently from shoulders to foot. Please wear conservative dress, preferably long pants or long skirts. Or to rent a scarf at entrance at RM3 (current price).
