- Ishigaki Limestone Caves – Inside this amazing natural phenomenon, visitors get a chance to see what the Ryukyu Islands are made of. A 660 meter long trail that has been well laid out with steps, hand rails, and lighting into these caves. The formation of these limestone caves took over one million years and besides coral they are also composed of sea eggs, univalve shell, polyzoan, foraminifera, bivalve, and lime alga.
- Mineya Minsah Kobo – Originally from the tiny island of Taketomi-jima, the technique for producing this unique cloth has been handed down through the generations and remains essentially untouched by modern technology. Here offers a wide range of contemporary Yaeyama Minsah products that fit modern needs.
- Kabira Bay – With its emerald green and blue hues Kabira Bay is considered one of the most beautiful places in Japan and definitely on the top of the list for Okinawa. There is a look out area at Kabira bay that allows for breathtaking views of the scenery. You may enjoy the glass bottom boat trip (at your own expenses) to take a look at the beautiful underwater world of Kabira Bay.
- Aeon Max Valu – it is the largest supermarket in Ishigaki. Around the area also with 100 Yen Store, book store, cosmetics shops and other local shops. Here you can find different kinds of products including clothes, leather goods, groceries, skin care products, electrical goods, local Japanese food and etc.
