ASIA’S PIONEER CRUISE COMPANY’S NEW REGIONAL DEPLOYMENTS

The bold pioneering efforts of the leading cruise line in Asia Pacific, Star Cruises, reach out once again to the waters of Taiwan where the majestic SuperStar Libra was warmly welcomed today into the modern port of Keelung. She is the largest ship to be home-ported in Taiwan. Back in year 2005, the SuperStar Gemini has sailed in Taiwan. And now, Star Cruises will once again bring its magical cruise holidays to the beautiful waters of this region. Also recently on June 22, the SuperStar Aquarius made her maiden voyage to Hong Kong in conjunction with Hong Kong's 10 th Anniversary celebrations. She is the largest ship to be home-ported in Hong Kong.

Star Cruises is a global cruise brand with a combined fleet of 21 ships with an additional 3 ships due to be delivered by 2010, cruising to exotic destinations and islands around the world in Asia-Pacific, North and South America, Hawaii, Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Mediterranean, Bermuda and the Antarctica under the Star Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, NCL America, Orient Lines and Cruise Ferries brands.

The magnificent Norwegian Gem is due to be delivered in October this year, with a hefty gross tonnage of 93,502 and with 2,466 passenger capacity.

The SuperStar Libra will offer exotic itineraries to Ishigaki and the Naha islands, as well as this is the first time the itinerary will include new destinations like the fascinating Penghu Island. Whilst sailing to these destinations, cruisers can enjoy the rich diversity of cultural experiences onboard and have the time of their lives with the world-class facilities, cuisine and entertainment while traveling to these exciting destinations. The SuperStar Aquarius is offering daily South China Sea cruises which started from 22 June. A series of fabulous destination cruises to China are also offered including two-night cruises to Xiamen in the months of July to October, as well as Haikou cruises from November 2007 to March 2008.
