STAR CRUISES PROUDLY HOSTS MALAYSIAN AND SINGAPORE PRIME
MINISTERS ONBOARD MEGASTAR ARIES IN LANGKAWI
Star Cruises, the Leading Cruise Line in Asia Pacific, today hosted Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi of Malaysia and Prime Minister Mr. Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore onboard MegaStar Aries on a special cruise from Langkawi.
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his Singapore counterpart, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, accompanied by Cabinet Ministers from both countries, embarked the luxurious MegaStar Aries from the Star Cruises Jetty at Awana Porto Malai, Langkawi, at approximately 12 noon. The two-hour cruise sailed to Pulau Singabesar, Pulau Jong, Pulau Singakecil and Pulau Batu Merah around the waters of Langkawi.
The 90-strong entourage had a sumptuous Thai Chinese seafood cuisine luncheon onboard (menu attached) and, for dessert, was treated to a durian feast as well. The Prime Ministers were each presented with a special memento to mark this unique occasion: a model of Star Cruises' flagship vessel, the SuperStar Virgo.
Star Cruises is honoured to host the two leaders onboard MegaStar Aries, one of two vessels in its fleet used for special VIP cruises and charters.
